Area Information
Douglas, Wyoming is a community of approximately 5,000 people located 130 miles north of Cheyenne, the state capital and 50 miles east of Casper. The North Platte River runs through town, offering entertainment for those who love to fish, swim, canoe, or just take a walk on the scenic walking paths located at the river's edge. Fairgrounds Location

Detour: The Fairgrounds are located at 400 W. Center. View Map with detour routes.

From I-25 (North bound), use Douglas Exit 135. Go 2.7 miles (west) on Richards Street to the stop light. Go across railroad tracks, .3 mile to Brownfield Road and turn right on Brownfield Road (north). Go .4 mile, left turn to the Inspection Site. Signs will be posted.
From I-25 (South bound), use Douglas Exit 140. At the 4 way stop, turn right on Riverbend Drive, go .7 mile, turn left on Richards Street. Go 1.1 miles, turn left on Brownfield Road. Go .4 miles, on the left is the entrance. Signs will be posted.
Avoid Yellowstone Hwy. The Yellowstone Bridge is limited to one lane of traffic and Yellowstone Hwy is under major construction between the bridge and HWY 59.

Normal Driving Directions: From I-25, take exit 140 (toward WY-59/ Douglas /Gillette). Go straight at the 4-way stop and stay on that road as it curves and turns into Center Street. The main entrance to the fair is on the right side of the road about 1 mile after you exit I-25. (Note: During the fair, only vehicles bringing livestock are allowed to use this entrance.
